Make a ring in a day | One-day class

Come & learn how to make a silver ring on this fun one-day class in jewellery making

Course details:
You will learn lots of the basic essential jewellery making skills in this course and take a silver ring of your own design home with you!
Techniques covered include piercing (sawing), texturing metal, annealing, shaping, soldering & poishing. We also cover information on suppliers & how you can carry on your new hobby at home.

Beginners beading course | One-day class

Come & learn how to make beaded jewellery & create your own designs

Course details:
Covers basic techniques such as knotting, finishing off the ends with French wire and adding catches. You will also learn where the best suppliers are, the varieities of beads available and the tools trequired to carry on beading on home. We also cover simple beading techniques like using tiger tail and wrapping beads with wire.

By the end of the day you will be able to take home with you a beaded necklace or bracelet of semi-precious stones, coral or freshwater pearls.

Beginners lost wax casting| Evening classes x 6

Suitable for beginners - a set 6 week programme

Course details:
Learn the various processes of lost wax casting and how to create multiple identical pieces for limited batch production. We will cover these subjects:
Wax carving, preparing a model for casters, mould making processes, casting natural matter, finishing and polishing multiple pieces of cast jewellery, designing cast jewellery, cuttlefish casting.

Information provided on casters in London and Birmingham. All wax casting materials and one silver cast included in the price.

Intermediate Jewellery | Evening classes x 6

Add to your existing jewellery skills with new techniques & follow your own projects

Class details:
Following your own personal designs you will learn how to translate your ideas into 3D jewellery & decide which materials will be required.

In weeks one and two new techniques will be explained and demonstrated. These can be altered & aded to according to students' particulare needs & requirements.
