It was 10 years ago this year that we opened our Brick Lane Gallery and we would like to celebrate with you. We shall take the opportunity to invite all our patrons and designers to a 10 year anniversary party to run alongside a special retrospective exhibition. When visiting the exhibition you will have the chance to share your views on what makes a wonderful piece of jewellery plus the opportunity to win a piece of jewellery in the exhibition. The following designers will be exhibiting ten pieces of work in their specialist catagory and sharing with us their experiences as a designer / maker over the past decade.
Conceptual Jeweller - Hans Stofer Resin Jeweller - Kathie Murphy Textile Jeweller - Helena Markonsalo Silver Jeweller- Kate Hodgson Plastic Jeweller - Marmalade Figurative Jeweller - Amanda Coleman Mixed metal Jeweller - Jessica Briggs Gold Jeweller - Syann Van Niftrik Reycled Jeweller - Rhonda Khulman International Jeweller - Hee Seung Koh
Exhibtion runs: July 5th to September 5th at Brick Lane and September 7th to October 6th at Pimlico. A private view will be held at Brick Lane on Friday 4th July 6 - 9p.m. Email us with your postal address for an invitation: joatworkgallery@aol.com
This season we are delighted to be showing several new designers in both our galleries.

At Brick Lane we have enchanting miniatures in the form of jewellery by Louise Buchan, tea pots and cups to amuse and delight the wearer. Rachel Darbourne makes environmentally aware but sophisticated jewellery from plastic bags. Japanese designer Ton Ton brings a funky new look to skull jewellery - charming textile skulls with flowers in their hair in the form of brooches and buckle charms.
At Pimlico we have beautifully made ceramic and silver jewellery by Israeli designer Liliana Ojeda. In June we will be showing work from Brighton Jeweller Anne V Massey organic twisting forms in matt silver. To coincide with our forthcoming 'Top Ten' exhibition we shall be showing wall work from Helaina Sharpley, intricate wire work inspired by the very British theme of tea drinking.
Why not come and learn to make silver jewellery at our very popular beginners and intermediate courses? Choose from either evening classes or one day workshops in beading and advanced beading or traditional jewellery making skills. Call for availability.
Fully equipped jewellery workshop available to hire at Pimlico. £15/day, £45/week, £150 month. Call to book a space.
